01.30.10 My sister, the Sonic Shamanic Avenger

My smokin' hot sister and I went to a masquerade ball. I went as a Geisha girl thanks to Bonnie Bing. The ball was a visual treat. My photos really do not do it justice. It was amazing.

Please check out this video clip of Lara's wonderful wings in action.

01.24.09 after midnight

The shots came out. I would say the name of the particular shot of alcohol, but I don't wanted to be spammed by robots.

Please check out Erick trying to cheese in on the shot of the shots.

01.23.10 Little Buster's

Carter and Nick played a great acoustic show in the village of Der-bye. They were joined by a few friends including the very talented Mrs. Craddock and Ms. Bowen.

Michelle posted this video of my man belting out an Aretha tune. Yeah, you heard right.

01.22.10 The Arb's big birthday

I'm helping Robin put together a video about the history of the Bartlett Arboretum to celebrate its 100 years of living. This is Gus van der Hoeven and Robin hugging it out after he spoke about the first time he visited the Arb in 1974. Gus is a very passionate horticulturist and a fantastic interviewee.

01.12.10 frosty hoars invade Wichita

It's hoarfrost, which is of course a fun thing to say. The conditions have to be just right for it to occur and I can only remember it happening three times in the 11 years I've lived in Kansas. Here's a link to more photos.

01.04.10 Lettuce Ladies

PETA's Lettuce Ladies were in town passing out Tofurkey sandwiches with a side of goose bumps. I shot this while wearing my new fantastic pair of warm longjohns (thanks, Denise), wool socks, hats, gloves and a thick jacket. Those poor Lettuce Ladies.

01.03.10 it's like a Stumpe song

Joe Stumpe has a great line in one of his songs" "Only a birdbrain would winter in Wichita." He's referring to the Canadian geese that like to hang out around town. I've shot pictures at this hill in Sedgwick County Park and this is the first time I've seen this.

Sparkling grape juice that I bought for breakfast with the kids. The two of them knocked down the entire bottle and then we created this work of art.
