07.27.12 Score!

Went on a shopping spree with my girl KDB and bought more clothes in one day than I have in the past three years combined.

07.23.12 much better than camping

For months we've been planning on camping in the great outdoors. In Georgia. In July. We came to our senses (thanks, Shay) and ended up in a beautiful place called Serenbe.

07.22.12 good food and great friends

I was too busy drinking wine to take lots of pictures but this is pretty representative of what we did: eating, drinking and visiting.

07.10.12 ham sandwiches

07.07.12 I like what I see

It was nice to see puddles in the parking lot after Moonrise Kingdom (very good, btw). It was not nice to find a dry yard at home. It totally missed us.

UPDATE: We got a little water at our abode after I posted this.

07.06.12 lazy day

A great day to be indoors with the AC on and the feline chillin'.

07.05.12 roll your own

The kiddles love this dish from Saigon, the family-sized "roll your own." It comes with rice papers and, well, you roll your own spring rolls.

07.03.12 bent black whisker

Mara has been sporting a bent black whisker on the left side of her face for a few weeks now and we think it's pretty funny (and cute).

07.02.12 historic flags of the U.S.

One of my neighbors starts celebrating the Fourth a few days early by displaying his collection of 71 historic flags of the U.S. It's impressive and I learned a lot from him.

07.01.12 cold snow cone

My salivary glands were going when I saw this mound of sweet, cold ice. Unfortunately, I need both hands to shoot a baseball game on a hot day and snow cones are a little too tough to handle.

06.30.12 baby Catie

Oy! Being a baby can be stressful.
