05.29.13 Randy and Denice

These two lovebirds listening to a song Denice recorded with my man. She surprised Randy with the recording for a first anniversary gift. So happy these two found each other.

05.28.13 Botanica

Our fourth annual gig at Botanica. Always a hot time and we always somehow manage to avoid the rain.

05.27.13 Red, White and Blue

This gentleman gave me his card and it said, "Call Don for Land's Sake." Not sure what we're supposed to call Don about but he sure is cute.

05.26.13 graduation

When Micah's dad asked him what kind of graduation party he wanted he said, "One where I can play." And that's what he did, although he eventually took off the robe. He's headed to University of North Texas to study jazz and math.

05.25.13 Oeno

We hit the patio at Oeno in Old Town for the first time in nearly two years. Lots of fun and fantastic weather - an oddity.

05.24.13 foxhole

Saw these two foxes at the softball field while shooting the state championship game. They caused quite a ruckus and, no, I can't describe that ruckus, Denise.

05.23.13 Mama Mia

She is one selfless woman. As Carter likes to say, "those little fuzzies don't give her time to turn around and fart."

05.19.13 spring weddings

Shot the quickest wedding at the Arboretum due to tornado warnings and watches in the area. It lasted about five minutes followed by a 10-minute reception and then a hike across the street to a basement where about 20 people gathered. Robin is always thankful for the rain unless there's flooding.https://vimeo.com/1103212

05.18.13 slugger

That's Green #2 and his best bro waiting for a game to finish before starting one of theirs. They played four games over a 13-hour span during a tournament. Colin got hit in the face while batting. There was some blood, sweat and tears and, thankfully, no missing teeth. He came back the next game and got a hit right away.

05.17.13 Mama Mia!

We're fostering these four 2-week-old fuzzballs for the next 4-6 weeks for the Kansas Humane Society. It's nice to have these youngsters in a home where they get a lot of attention they need at this age. We've named them Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anni-Frid (we call her Frida for short) and, of course, the mama is Mama Mia!

05.14.13 Herman Miller

I won this chair and a similar one in orange in a silent auction. The beauties were found in a storage closet at the Eagle and outed by Tim Potter, a lover of all things mid-century. Still not entirely sure if I'll keep them or sell them. Hmmm...

05.12.13 flying bat

A public service announcement to watch out for flying bats at baseball games. This one ended up in the stands but, thankfully, nobody was hurt. Shot this with a remote camera set on top of the dugout. Here's the view from the camera in my hands. My camera fired the remote camera at the same time using transmitters.l

05.11.13 blondes have more fun

05.03.12 Yes!

I fell in love with the New Orleans version of the Bloody Mary. It's basically like a salad so, you know, it's good for you. It has okra, celery, cherry tomatoes and spicy green beans. Well, look at what I found in my very own Dillons.
