01.30.14 Oh, happy day

One of the hardest things about foster parenting is wondering what kind of home your babies are gonna end up in.
A very cool thing happened today. I stopped at the Humane Society to finalize the paperwork for Stephanie's adoption of Midnight when I found out there was a couple adopting McMuffin and Dude at that very same moment. They are as sweet as can be. Two more bits of good news: Mama was adopted yesterday and this same couple is thinking about adopting Gloves when she's available (she's still too small for her surgery).

01.29.14 and then there was one

All of the kittens are gone and Mara is a happy cat.

Midnight has found her furrever home with my sister-in-law Stephanie. I'm so happy to keep 'Night in the family.

01.26.14 Good and faithful servant

I'm retiring my computer backpack of 13 years. It's been all over the world but now it is time for it to relax. Enjoy retirement.

01.23.14 Dick Honeyman

I clued Suzanne in on one of my favorite things to do when I visit high schools where I know friends attended. Apparently I also like to photograph Suzanne taking photographs.

01.22.14 Mama

Poor Mama still can not get a break. She can't even walk without one of her babies latching on.

01.18.14 black and yellow

Shocker fans were asked to wear either black or yellow depending on where they were sitting to "stripe the arena." It worked. I can't believe it.

01.17.14 Gloves

What are you looking at?

01.16.14 Finally!

Technically speaking, this is a terrible photo. The color and exposure are both far from where they should be.

I couldn't pass it up for this blog because a. Brian has been dreaming of winning Shocker tickets for a long time and b) for I was sick on Thursday and didn't shoot anything else.

01.13.14 Skippy Sanchez

Skippy now has a new passport pic.

01.12.14 birthing a prairie

It doesn't look like much now but there's already been a lot of hard work and research that have gone into making this a prairie with native flora. It's gonna be pretty cool when it starts coming to life.

01.11.14 Midnight and Dude

Midnight is the one on the left but you probably already figured that out.

It is sometimes hard to get a sense of how big (or small) the kittens are in my photos. The shoes give it a nice sense of scale. Those are a women's size 11. My long feet match my long frame.

01.05.14 Undefeated

Normally when Gregg Marshall points at a player he's upset with them. This time he was pointing to Fred VanVleet because he was dominating the game and helped take the Shockers to their 15th win and a school record.

01.01.14 la creperie

Had friends over for a crepes, bacon, mimosas and kitty visiting. An all-around win.

01.01.14 "The Year of the Cat"

My annual video of this year's photos. You'll see a lot of cats, CRG, more cats, Mudbugs and a dog or two.
