04.30.15 wild do

Spotted this kid at the Sedgwick County Zoo. I almost mistook him for a wild animal.

04.29.15 Gearhart family

Photographed this sweet group of siblings. They are currently in foster care together and looking for a family to adopt them. They range in ages 10-15 and their bios will soon be listed here.

04.25.15 updating the wall

We had to update the Prairie Pines' dressing room autograph wall this year. Can't believe it's been seven years of Mudbug Madness already.

04.24.15 Mudbug Madness

Colin has always loved all things about Mudbug Madness.

04.23.15 asperatus

Crazy cool clouds rolling over the city. I learned that they are a newly named cloud called asperatus.

04.22.15 Mara

She's very curious. Doesn't let us go anywhere in the house without checking it out, even a trip to the basement.

04.21.15 crib

It's a good start on the nursery.

04.19.15 she'll make a great Brownie

When I was a Brownie I was the only one in my troop who wouldn't touch a worm to get a badge. Helen already has this down.

04.18.15 storm

It was all bark and no bite.

04.17.15 those knuckleheads

The lock on my car stopped working and my mechanic quoted me $250 to fix it. I bought the part from those knuckleheads at AutoZone (sadly, they sold me the wrong part initially). When I finally got the correct part it was $25. CRG watched a 10-minute video and an hour later the car was fixed!

04.15.15 Gridiron

Photographed dress rehearsal last night and was awed by Fairy Tale Princess' entrance. I won't spoil it here but it was unlike anything ever done before (at least in Gridiron). It was fantastic!

04.14.15 lesson learned

We aren't used to real grass (our last house was kind of a mess) and we waited too long between mowings. We had to rake up the big clumps to prevent them from killing our yard. This will (hopefully) never happen again.

04.13.15 press conference for two

This was a first. Beccy and I went to a press conference where we were the only members of the media. It was quite intimate.

04.11.15 senior pics

My friend Cory's son, Ethan, is an impressive dude. I'm excited about his future. He's doing some pretty cool stuff that most 18-year-olds don't have the drive to do.

04.06.15 Spring

One of the best things about living in a new place are the little surprises that pop up like this beautiful creeping phlox.

04.03.15 Fish FryDay

Mara patiently waits for her fish (which never came). We have a saying in our house, "She thinks she's a people."

04.02.15 a man and his mower

This thing flies and is fun to drive after you get used to it. I am not completely comfortable with it but enough to help out a little.
